The possibilities for lighting are almost endless. We provide a range of options that we know work well in the tents but it is, of course, possible to create all sorts of other extraordinary effects.

In a Giant Hat, we use two bars of pin spot lights pointing downwards to produce pools of light on tables, dancefloors or other features, combined with three uplighters shining up into the apex. All the lights hang from the tent cross-bars about 3 metres above the ground, and the lights in each tent are controlled by their own dimmer.

In a Giant Hat or Kungsörnen being used as a Chillout tent, three LED stage lights work well. They can be set to a multitude of different colours, or set to change between colours. Coupled with the table lamps in the Relaxed Furnishings set they create an appealing effect.

Other options include:

• A mirror hung over a dance floor
• fairy lights hung in sways from the apex of the tent to the cross-bars.
• flame torches outside the tents
• flourescent lights in catering tents.
