Arran is a great multi-functional tent easily carried in a rucksack and which has reliable qualities for the discerning user. Compared with ordinary portable tents, Arran is simply superb when it comes to comfort, space for indoor activities and togetherness. Using an open fire creates a great atmosphere and brings many other advantages. Arran is made from the same breathable fabric as Varrie cp (Cotpol T4), but without the reinforcement edging. It is only partially mosquito-proof when used without an inner tent. Ventilation is achieved through the mosquito-netted door, the smoke hole which is adjusted from outside the tent and, if necessary, by raising the bottom edge of the canvas. Those who like the natural feel of the fabric, want the improved indoor climate that ensues, and do not mind the extra few kilos should consider the Arran.
