Sociable is perhaps the best word to describe the Ouled Nail, which is designed more for sitting than for standing. There is headroom down the centre of the tent, but this tapers off at the back and the sides to provide sitting space that can be piled with rugs and cushions. At 16' x 24' (4.9m x 7.3m) this is the perfect party tent.
This design is based on the tents of the Ouled Nail, a tribe of North African nomads from the mountains of Algeria. Beautifully constructed, like all our tents, the poles are treated with a linseed oil finish and the central ridge piece is in a solid piece of carved, curved timber. The guy straps are finished with turned hardwood stretchers to complete the effect.
The Ouled Nail comes complete with a heavy duty groundsheet and will seat 15-20.
