Flooring
We can floor your tent in a number of ways. 

Matting smartens things up and helps keep dirt and moisture at bay.  We use polypropylene matting laid on a damp proof membrane, in a colour that matches well with the tent canvas. This matting has distinct advantages over the more common coconut matting as it is highly resistant to rot, stains and smells.

Alternatively,  we can lay a wooden floor for you.  We use 8’x4’ sheets of “OSB” – a type of chipboard incorporating large flakes of wood – screwed to bearers that sit directly on the ground.  This gives a rustic effect which fits in with the style of the tents, but can be covered over with matting or carpet if a smarter finish is needed.

Of course, it is possible to dispense with flooring altogether if the site allows.  This works well during the summer on well kept lawns, or in woodland settings where a very natural feel is the aim.

Outside the tent we can create walkways, roadways and even car parks to keep your guests on a solid even surface and out of any mud.
