Q: Can I have an open fire in my tent?
A: Fire and tents do not mix well! For this reason we do not permit open fires or any other form of naked flame in any of our smaller tents (tipi, yurt, alachigh and ouled nail). However, in the Kåta we can provide a central fireplace and it does create a wonderful focal point.

Q: What if I want something different from what is shown on the website?
A: Please just give us a call on 0118 988 2355. We will always try to accommodate your requirements.

Q: How much space do I need to allow to pitch the tent?
A: The amount of space required is described on the Floor Plans page of the relevant tent.

Q: How can I pay?
A: You can pay by cash or cheque (payable to "The Stunning Tents Company"). We ask for a 25% deposit to confirm the booking, with the balance payable 7 days before the first day of hire. Please note that cheques must be with us 10 days prior to the first day of hire, to allow sufficient time for funds to clear.

Q: How long does it take to erect the tent?
A: It takes us about two hours to erect the smaller tents, and an hour to dismantle them. A Kåta takes about half a day to erect and a couple of hours to dismantle.
